Greetings I am Vlad Dracul. I am one of the Elders here at the Temple of the Vampire. I was born in the year 1390 in Wallachia, It is located south of the Carpathian Montains in Romania. I was the illegitimate son of Prince Mircea, the ruler of Wallachia. My Mother was Princess Mara of the Tomaj family of Hungary. I spent my early youth at the court of Sigismund I of Luxembourg, the King of Hungary, as a token of faithfullness of Mircea's alliance with Sigismund. Thus I spent the rest of my childhood in Buda and parts of Germany. I married and had a son, I named him Mircea.
In 1430 I arrived in Transylvania as an official in charge of securing the Transylvainian boarder with Wallachia, I resided in Sighisoara, Toward the end of that year my second son, Vlad (later called Vlad the Impaler)was born. Shortly after Vlad's birth, Sigismund had selected me as a canidate to rule Wallachia. I was then invited to Nuremberg to be invested by the Order of the Dragon. (Sigismund had founded the order in 1418), Which had a variety of goals, among them to fight Islam.
Now bearing the title of Prince of Wallachia, I secured my throne by createing a powerfull alliance by marrying Eupraxia, the sister of the ruler of Moldavia, as a second wife. In 1436 I was finally able to secure the Wallachian Throne, and in the winter of 1436-37 I moved to Tirgoviste, the Wallachian capital. Here is where I had 3 more children: Radu, a second son also named Vlad (commonly referred to as Vlad the Monk), and a second son named Mircea.
In 1437, following the death of Sigismund, I signed an alliance with the Turks. In March 1442 I allowed Mezid-Bey to pass through Wallachia and attack Transylvania. However, the Turkish army was defeated and the Hungarian army pursued Mezid-Bey back through Wallachia and drove me from my throne in the process. I then took refuge among the Turks, With the help of the Turks,I regained my throne that following year. To secure the new relationship, I left two sons, Vlad and Radu, in Turkish hands. Then, in 1444, Hungary moved against the Turks. I attempted to keep my pledge to the sultan but I was also aware of my obligations to the Christian community, I sent a small contingent to assist the Hungarian forces. They met with a resounding defeat, I and my son Mircea blamed on John Hunyadi, the governor of Hungary. In 1447 Hunyadi led a war against me. The decisive battle was fought near Tirgoviste, Which this is where I was beleaved to be killed, and my son Mircea was captured by the Romanian boyars (the ruling elite) he was tortured and killed.
The year after my talk of death, My son Vlad Dracula attempted to assume the throne. He was unable to do so untill 1456. Soon after becoming Prince of Wallachia, he avenged myself and his brother.
My son ruled till early January 1477 where he was killed by an assassin. News of this traveled far, far enough for me to hear. That is where I sold my soul for revenge. I became a Vampire, Prince of Darkness. I then got my revenge on all who crossed me. My numbers crew throughout the years. I have transformed many for my army of the undead. Then I created the Temple of the Vampire. A secret organization for only the strongest Vampires in the world. I am Vlad, Bow down before me, or DIE.
